Mela Cream by Dermaceutic is an exfoliating cream-serum that contains highly active cocktail ingredients like kojic acid, arbutin, niacinamide, retinol, salicylic acid, phytic acid, liquorice root and mandelic acid, which chemically dissolve keratinized structures in the skin, minimize hyperpigmentation, add radiance and even out the skin tone. The serum is also suitable to treat fine lines or wrinkles, or to treat impurities and large pores.

Ingredients
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Kojic acid: Because it inhibits the production of melanin, kojic acid is a proven, effective treatment of melasma
Niacinamide: the potent cell-communicating ingredient that offers multiple benefits for impaired or ageing skin.
Retinol: Anti-aging agent that boosts collagen production to combat signs of photoaging and improves the skin texture.
Phytic Acid: Natural plant as an antioxidant, It is used as a skin lighting agent, it works by blocking the entrance of iron and copper in the formation of melanin.
Mandelic Acid: is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid that loosens the bonds that hold old dead skin cells together and removes them.
Arbutin: Inhibits cells’ production of melanin (melanogenesis) by blocking the action of tyrosinase. It is also an antioxidant.
Liquorice extract: A proven depigmenting agent, due to its flavonoid-rich composition. Liquorice inhibits the action of two tyrosinases, which catalyse the production of melanin. It also has soothing properties.
Salicylic acid: Causes a keratolytic action that reduces intercorneocyte cohesion, and destroys lipids that bind the outer cells of the epidermis.

Instructions for use
Apply a small amount 1 time daily in the evening on the full face.
Start applying Mela cream twice a week then increase its frequency progressively, (If this is the first time you are using Retinol).
Use Sun Ceutic for complete sun protection.
The 3-month treatment is recommended.
Warnings
Do not leave the product within the reach of children.
On any sign of irritation reduce the frequency of use until skin acclimates.
Not recommended to use during pregnancy, due to Salicylic Acid.
Wear a good quality, broad-spectrum sunscreen daily
For the first 2 to 3 weeks of application, blemishes can be transitorily darkened due to the cleansing action on the skin.
Contains Mandelic Acid which is from almonds and should be avoided if you have a nut allergy.
If you note any side effects such as red rash or bumps, itching, pain, blisters, and dry, red patches of skin, should discontinue using it.
